Frappe Girls runs free, one-day workshops where women in business, finance, and operations learn Frappe Framework and ERPNext through practice, coaching, and community. No programming experience required.
Frappe Girls is a non-profit community helping women understand, use, and build on open-source business technology, especially Frappe Framework and ERPNext.
We organize free, one-day workshops where participants set up their first ERPNext environment, explore DocTypes, understand real business workflows, and learn with support from experienced coaches.
Every woman who runs a business, manages accounts, or works in operations should have access to powerful open-source tools and the confidence to use them. Frappe Girls exists to make that practical, visible, and community-supported.
The workshop journey is simple: apply, build, and continue learning through the wider community.
Participants apply for a free workshop. No prior programming experience is required, only curiosity and a laptop.
In one practical workshop day, participants learn the basics of Frappe and ERPNext, create records, and understand live workflows with coach support.
After the workshop, learners continue through future events, contribution paths, the Frappe tutorial, and the wider coaching and organizer community.
Organizing is one path. Frappe Girls also grows through coaches, sponsors, website contributors, translation support, and the learning journey around the official Frappe tutorial.
Support participants throughout the day, troubleshoot, encourage, and help first-time learners finish with confidence.
